Evolve Cover Competition
Creating an award-winning collection can give salons a massive head start in the hair industry. Sometimes this creativity gets overlooked as salon owners and stylists get caught up in the day to day running of the salon. But, it is often this creativity that helps set salons apart from their peers and therefore Shortcuts wanted to showcase this creativity in Evolve magazine!
This competition was open to Shortcuts clients in the USA and Canada and the requirements were to submit a collection of images that they think cover worthy! It’s up to you to decide who wins; the criteria that were set forth were the following:
1.
Originality and Creativity |
2.
Styling and Execution of Vision |
3.
Art Direction and Composition |
4.
Continuity of Images Within Submission |
5.
Subject Matter |
6.
Harmony Between Photographer’s Execution and Stylist’s Creativity |
The Judges
Shortcuts has recruited judges from around the world with various skills and talents to serve on the judging panel and select the cover shot for Evolve 18!
